Conan

[Conan O'Brien is no longer hosting a talk show]
Conan was a popular late night comedy show for 30 years, and was taped at Warner Bros Studios in Burbank. The host, Conan O'Brien, decided to discontinue the talk show as of June 2021.

Dr. Phil

Dr. Phil's success stems from his "get real" approach to helping his guests solve their problems. Be in the audience or on the show. Order online or by telephone (323-461-PHIL). The Dr Phil show accommodates group events by issuing "group priority" tickets for groups of ten or more people. They provide free charter transportation for groups of 40-47 people. Late-night comedy talk show host Jimmy Kimmel appears at El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. Topics include comedy routines, daily monologue, plus appearances from celebrities, athletes, musicians and comedians.

"THE REAL" is led by five bold, diverse and outspoken hosts -- Tamar Braxton, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley. Famous daytime talk show featuring celebrity interviews, current event topics and comedy. The Ellen DeGeneres Show tapes at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank. All requests for tickets must be made online. Audience members must be at least 14 years old (proof of age is required). Jay Leno (former host of The Tonight Show) is bringing back the classic comedy game show, "You Bet Your Life" with his longtime friend, Kevin Eubanks. The show will feature funny headlines, goofy products, crazy lawsuits, funny contestant interviews and game play – plus many brand-new comedy segments.

Let's Make A Deal is a costume based show (costumes available on-site for sale or rent) which stars host Wayne Brady, and tapes during summer months at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood.

Choose "Get Tickets" from the "Join" menu at the top. If you want to try to be on the show, choose "Be A Contestant" from the same menu. Reservations for large groups can be made by telephone (Monday through Friday, see website for the phone number).

TV Studio Tours

There are several TV and movie production studios in the Los Angeles area; however only a few of them are open for tours. Most TV studio tours have a minimum age requirement (except Universal Studios) and advance reservations are usually required.

Universal Studios Hollywood

The world-famous movie studio and theme park featuring shows, attractions, rides, restaurants and more.

  • The Studio Backlot tour - view movie sets, see special effects and get a behind-the-scenes view of movie making from a tram that circles the studio set portions of the property.
  • Extra TV is no longer filmed at Universal Studios. The show is currently produced at Burbank Studios without a live audience.

Warner Bros Studio Tour

The tour begins at the VIP Tour Center with a special introductory film to the world of Warner Bros. Groups of 12 load onto electric carts that take you into the studio lot, for a very exclusive tour through the backlot streets, sound stages, sets and craft shops. The experience ends at Warner Bros museum where you may explore motion-picture memorabilia from past and present. Advance tickets are recommended.

Paramount Studios

Experience the living history of Paramount Studios. Three tours are available (advance reservations required):

  • The Studio Tour is a two-hour historical and informational look behind-the-scenes of the daily operations of a major motion picture and television facility.
  • The VIP Studio Tour is a 4.5-hour in-depth experience that includes access to more areas of the studio.
  • Paramount After Dark Tour is offered Friday and Saturday evenings, and explores the studio's stages, film vaults and property after most of the crews have gone home for the day.
