Forest Seeks Public Comment on Off-Highway Vehicle Grant Application
Cleveland National Forest officials submitted a cooperative grant application to the California Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division for the 2024 "Green Sticker" grants.
The application is viewable by clicking on the "Grants" tab on the California State Parks Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation website at www.ohv.parks.ca.gov/. Comments on the application must be received by 5:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time, on May 6, 2024.
Public comments must be submitted to Jacob Rodriguez, Recreation and Lands Officer, on the Trabuco Ranger District of the Cleveland National Forest, at jacob.rodriguez@usda.gov and to California State Parks by using the "Grants" tab on their website at www.ohv.parks.ca.gov/.
Cal Trans SR-74 Ortega Highway-widening work affect access to Trabuco Ranger District trails and recreation sites
Cal Trans continues to perform highway-widening work on SR-74 Ortega Highway with periodic nightly closures. This activity will limit access to many Trabuco Ranger District trails, campgrounds, and picnic areas. For more information, please visit the CalTrans website.
